In the summers of 2010-2012, I gave concerts in ancient churches and palacios across the "Meseta," Spain's high central plateau, strikingly golden with sunshine, wheat fields and sunflowers. After concerts, the moon and stars shone in the huge, black velvet sky, and I often found myself playing again, impromptu, for appreciative listeners our of doors, in squares as old as the music I love. This CD contains the very music I played those summers, recorded in a lovely 16th century church with perfect acoustics, in the heart of the Meseta.

Christopher Cerrone's "Hoyt-Schermerhorn" is one of the finest pieces written since the turn of the century. Ms Chow displays an uncanny balance of emotional depth and structural clarity. Amazing! Peter Blanchette, archguitar
